Immediate opportunities for Windows Server Platform Engineer to join our team working as Customer Engineers (CEs). Positions are full time salaried roles offering comprehensive benefits. A CE’s time is dedicated to working with some of the largest, and most sophisticated companies in the world, usually F1000 companies. CEs work with and assist customers in building, deploying, operating, and optimizing complex enterprise environments. You will be responsible for customer satisfaction, deployment, adoption, and support of Windows Server initiatives.

Primary Work Includes:

· Standard Product Work Shops – Training

· In-Depth Product Reviews via White Board “Chalk Talk” Sessions

· Administer Health Checks and Risk Assessments

· Post Operational Review of Product Implementations

· Product Upgrade and or Migration Assessments

· Systems Performance Reviews

· Act as the primary technical contact, providing customer visibility, advanced technical support and problem resolution

The experience you’ll need to excel in the role:

Broad knowledge of on-premises Microsoft products with deep understanding of (at least) 4 of the following:

1. Windows Server (Windows Server 2012 R2-2025 = advanced to expert level)

2. Virtualization (Hyper-V, VMWare, Azure VMWare Services, Azure Stack HCI)

3. Windows Client (Windows 10/11 – advanced to expert level)

4. Patching/Windows Update

5. Networking

6. Storage

7. Failover Clustering

8. Windows Performance

9. Blue Screen/kernel debugging

10. PowerShell (scripting, automation, and DSC)

11. RDS

12. WVD

· Technical experience with hybrid infrastructures, architecture designs, and technology management

· 4+ years of experience in Systems Architecture, Administration, Operations, Software support, IT consulting

· 4+ years On-Premises support or consulting work for Enterprise customer base

· Proven track record in successfully planning, deploying, operating, and optimizing on-premises environments

· Understanding of Microsoft’s Modern IT Architecture and Strategy, IaaS platform Infrastructure as Code Governance, and Azure Active Directory Identity Management

· Windows OS Cert knowledge – Install Configure and Troubleshoot Windows 10/ 11 (Advanced to expert level)

· Understand Windows Servicing process and upgrade process from Windows 7, 8, 8.1 to Windows 10/ 11

· PowerShell/ automation, DNS, GPO, DHCP

· Advanced knowledge of Universal and Provisioned applications

· Windows Performance and troubleshooting via windows tools (Perfmon/ WPA, task manager), Blue Screen debugging RDS (Remote Desktop Session) WVD (Windows Virtual Desktop)

· Technical experience with hybrid infrastructures, architecture designs, and technology management.

· Understanding of Windows 10/ 11 Security Features and be able to implement and troubleshoot Secure Boot; Device Guard; Application Guard; Windows Hello, TPM, etc.

· Understanding of drivers and filter drivers

· Expert level of Microsoft enterprise software product offerings

· Advanced knowledge of Windows Defender suite a plus Intune/ Autopilot a plus

· Windows IoT experience a plus

· Security best practices and implementation for Microsoft technologies is a plus

· Advanced Microsoft certifications are preferred

· BA/BS degree in Business, Communications, or Information Technology highly preferred
